Announcement

The TC1 (Education and Training in Measurement and Instrumentation) and TC7 (Measurement Science) IMEKO Joint Symposium on Man, Science & Measurement explored emerging challenges and novel concepts in measurement science from an anthropocentric viewpoint. It focused on the role of measurement science in human activity, considering for example:

• measuring systems as a way for helping human perception of the world
• measurement as a way for helping perception of human activity
• Measurement Science as a focus of interest

The symposium took place in ANNECY, FRANCE. It was organized by the Universite de Savoie and sponsored by the International Measurement Confederation IMEKO.
